New Moon in Pisces by Ollie Goodall

I am looking at tomorrow morning's New Moon & total solar eclipse in late Pisces. The Moon will be new at 9:37 GMT. The eclipse comes at 9:46 a.m as light takes around 8 minutes to get here. Nb. the chart below is for the new moon not the eclipse.
This is also the ending of winter as we enter the Vernal Equinox at 10:46 pm later tomorrow. Aka the "first point of Aries." A critical point in any chart; personal or mundane (earthly). It represents the old dying into the new. Transition is quick but fundamental to life, the seasons and our relationship to world around us. Conscious letting go is also vital. An eclipse will make this transition difficult for those with strong egos as their identities and forms are challenged. Or others find challenging!  Spiritual types will find this easier, as the Piscean energy will continue into spring more than usual meaning weaker boundaries but greater understanding to the open-hearted.

Back to the new moon. The unaspected mars (those egos again) will see lots energy being released but in many ways wildly and mis-directed. Burn-outs will occur. Folks might prefer to work on new projects alone, as the best way of dealing with the above. Mars close to the south node means habitual will-based behaviour will be very prevalent.

The Libran North node in the 5th is about where we are trying to get to - personal and sensible creativity not lost to the motives of others, which we cannot control.

Uranus, closer still to the south node, refers to change for it's own sake. Beware the superfical motive and attention seeker! Look for the greater purposeful energetic character (Aries 11th House) through the mayhem. With the intercepted 11th house planets they will be harder to find. But thanks to the Piscean rulership of the 11th House of a well-aspected Jupiter. Our learning at this time is on a intense learning curve! Jupiter in Leo in the 3rd will provide plenty of creative communication on those wider spiritual issues as a way of alleviating the ego in us all. Folks born on, or close to the 4th August will be at the centre of this activity. Despite the fact they are Leos and not often prone to the sentimental! Only if they use their best noble heart and not their over-powering heads! Pragmatism plus openess is the way forward, to coin a phrase. Also Jupiter is at the centre of a Yod aspect with Mercury (10th House in Pisces and Pluto (8th House in Capricorn). Careful transformative communication will help alleviate the tremendous energy on that Jupiter. The poetic narrative enforced by Neptune with Mercury in the 10th is very sweet and hypnotic, but misunderstandings are bound to arise - "that's not what I meant," for example. Beware the charismatic boss who promises more than they can deliver! David Cameron, anyone?

Eclipses refer to blocked energy, further complicating the issue. Mars in the 11th for the UK means large social movement, decisions made on changing one’s circles or energising exsiting groups with a marked change in direction. Involving aggressive individuals who would want that direction to go their way. Uranus is very close also and will also make this possibly painful and sudden initially. But it is necessary as the 11th house is the Uranian natural home and social revolution is gonna happen one way or another. The upcoming election is case in point, and that aggression I talked about is why people are so turned off by politics. The rhetoric builds and the listening stops. I feel that we are in for a big surprise regarding the 7th May General Election.

  More soon!

Brand stuffing Paxo?

The real deal. Political discourse via the heart, who would have thought?
Lyrical, impassioned and perhaps another apparition of a younger Alexei Sayle?
(watching Owen Jones on QT reminded me also with his gutsy verbals).
Most public figures, be it in comedy, the Media.. have been apolitical for ages
because the market wants escapism not the horror of the reality.
That comedy arena should be a cry for change not just crying to take the change out of your pocket.

Since 1994 when Clause IV was abolished by Blair at the first opportunity.
It abolished the political connection to the working classes, that got
old Labour in power 6 times over the last 100 years. The Welfare state
is the only thing left as a sole meaningful legacy.

And it is precisely those public school attitudes that permeate our political system
as Gandalf remarked on the dark Lord Sauron, who "does not share power."

Russell Brand on Question Time June 2013

I saw this 3 weeks ago. Usually the only interesting panellists on QT are the non-politicos. The odd interesting celeb, hack, artist, comic;  Eno, Self, Chakrabarti, Owen Jones, etc.  Here, there was much welcome emotion, albeit solution-lite. Nothing wrong with fluff, I guess but the clue is in the name. His agent could have said to him in the green room “...Russ just be yourself, we're opening the new Sainsbury’s in Reading tomorrow...”  QT is not a teenager's bedroom! But at least Brand connects on a gut-level with the youth demographic. We so are fed up with the lack of choice & representation in politics. But who these days is not selling something? Ideas, votes, t-shirts, DVD’s, followers, friends, subscribers, downloaders, likers,  Are we all in fact just different versions of Russell Brand..?

Most bizarre TV everrrr!

Lord Sugar on the Graham Norton Show..
Sugar, the arch-grump, gets the red-chair lever control on those gushing
poor souls who recount their one story that will grip the nation.
They hope. Except, the normally assured Sugar, was floundering impatiently
with comic bad timing. The stories were all florid, risque & confessional.
Sexual Healing with Sugar? He's most likely to say:
"Just hurry up and get on with it!" He just didn't have Norton's
ruthless lever touch. Hilarious, strange and definitely British.

Claudia Winkleman Reality TV show.

"Living with Claudia Winkleman." A new reality TV show for people tired of TV.

Could we enjoy our lives in the knowledge that we are not living with a certain personality? Or will we take solace in the thought that things really couldn't be worse.
Lurid tales of what goes on behind her front door is only the beginning...

Have you taken sufficient prescription drugs? Yes, then this could be just for you. Experience the sense of horror in the face of the void. Atheists especially welcome, as you leave all beliefs behind. Virtual-3D-holo-sensurround-tasto-woofer-personal induction system essential for total sensory immersion. See local nano stockists. Points are given the longer you can stand it. 23 seconds is the current record. Any unqualified superlatives that you might hear will only increase the pain. Contact your GP for health insurance cover. The TV production company accepts no liability for mental illness. On the form select either the "euthansia" option or "section 2 of the mental health act". Vogon poetry is a distant relative as self-asphyxiation could be the only escape.

Alternatively, watch Film 2011 where you will get some idea of why the above show was commissioned in the first place.

First Blog

This is my first blog.
To blog or not to blog, that is the question. On technology, just because we can we shouldn't always do.
We live in times of quantity and occasional quality. Like the millions and millions of crill teeming in the oceans of the world, this is one more blog to ignore, to read and to dispose of.

It will be political, thought-provoking, spiritual, and the cornershop that gives you; Twix, Cosmo, razors, coffee and raisins. Who knows? I might run out of things and suspend business. I hope not, we'll see!
